I am sitting here in my room in Stockholm contemplating dinner after an amazing week teaching Swedish architects solution architecture.
As is always the case I am not sure who learned more from the exchange my class or me. This class was especially capable and varied. From enterprise architects in electricity and nuclear feul to independant consultants, there was a balance of experience and perspective that is the root of great conversation.
One idea I walked away with especially was that solution architecture is extremely important and will be a growth area for a long time to come. The vast majority of projects still riin without the involvement of a solution architect and those that do often fall into simply a governance role. Until that changes most decisions aboit business and technology strategy will go unaccounted. This is a significant opportunity for the industry to create success and jobs for the modern enterprise which is a hard to accomplish feat.
Thanks to all of my class for a great week.
